The Bulgarian vignette is available only in electronic form. There is therefore no need to attach anything to your windshield. The weekend vignette is valid only for a fixed period – from Friday at 12:00 to Sunday at 23:59.
Vehicle categories in Bulgaria
The Bulgarian vignette covers vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. What decides is the combined weight, not the body type.
Passenger cars

Vans and light commercial vehicles

If the combined maximum permitted weights of the vehicle and trailer exceed 3.5 tonnes, the trailer must have its own electronic vignette.

If the combined maximum permitted weights of the vehicle and trailer exceed 3.5 tonnes, you must also purchase a separate electronic vignette for the trailer. If the combination does not exceed this limit, a vignette for the towing vehicle is sufficient. What matters is the maximum permitted weight of each vehicle as stated in its registration documents, not its actual load.
